The International Monetary Fund respects the privacy of Web site visitors and the users of its online services. The Fund sites use session cookies only to maintain browser state. The Fund sites collect site-access information such as the visitor’s IP (Internet Protocol) address and Web-browser and operating-system information solely to help us understand the technology used by site visitors in ways that will help us improve our sites. The Fund similarly collects information in voluntary surveys to help us better understand our user community and create better systems. The IMF and its online-service providers will not distribute, sell or rent any information voluntarily provided by users or automatically collected from user without their prior agreement.
